On September 12^th Ashira launched the Future Champs Team, featuring the most talented kids he trains at his gym in Well-Come Fitness. The Future Champs Team consists of four young future champions: Willi (Bad Ass) Danm, Allan Ashira Oure Jr., William and Frederik Oxholm.

The boys have two private sessions a week with Ashira and one session together to press each other and train hard to step to the next level.

Another Future Champ is 15 year old Mads (Flashy Life Style) Burnell, who just boxed last weekend in a big special contest in Serbia where he did very well. The weekend before that he boxed in Sweden and won all his fights. This weekend he is participating in a tournament here in Copenhagen and we are expecting him to do very well.

IBA Jr. Middleweight champion of the world Ashira Oure would like to thank his friend Floyd Mayweather for taking time out to do a favour and sign an autograph and pose for a photo with Oure´s student Fredrick at his Gym in Las Vegas where Fredrick was vacationing during the Easter holidays. Oure also wants to thank Mayweather´s uncle Roger for lending his time to accommodate Fredrick, who trains at Ashira Oure Boxing at WellCome Fitness in Hellerup near Copenhagen, Denmark. Also a big thank you to former WBC super featherweight world champion, and Hall Of Fameer, Cornelius Boza Edwards who coordinated the whole thing for Ashira Oure and Fredrick.

IBA Junior middleweight world champion, and personal trainer, Evans Ashira Oure was a guest instructor this past weekend (14.3.2009) at Aktiverum Fitness in Helsingborg, Sweden where he conducted a boxing class for a fully booked class of 26 participants.

The intensive boxing and body workout was 90 minutes long, after which Ashira talked about the importance of realising that the body is made entirely of what you eat and do for the past six months and that people should make a commitment of renewing their body composition, muscle being the major fat burning component and that they should work out to build body muscle.

Ashira pointed out that when you build muscle you loose fat, gain strength, energy, creativity, enthusiasm, longevity, ability and self-esteem: You hit the jackpot.

On Saturday March 24 2009, Evans “The African Warrior” Ashira Oure will be appearing at the AKTIVERUM Gym in Helsingborg, Sweden to run a one-day boxing-class and speak about fitness. Ashira, who is a former two-time world champion, is probably best known in Sweden for knocking out the country’s hero Fredrik “Tyson” Alvarez in 2001. Ashira then signed with Don King, moved to the USA and lost on points to future hall-of-famer Joe Calzaghe for the WBO world super middleweight title during his campaign with King. Now resettled back in Copenhagen, Denmark with his family, Ashira works as a personal trainer and is still an active professional boxer who frequently trains with Denmark’s superstar, current WBA world champion Mikkel Kessler. Ashira has lived a “fitness life” his whole life, and has been to all the great fitness places in the world, and trained with elite athletes in places such as Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Germany, England and Kenya. He is looking forward to the new experience of doing something in Sweden.

Documentary film “Kassim The Dream” will be premiering on April 21 in New York City. The film is the story of Ashira Oure´s long time friend Kassim Ouma and his life from being a child-soldier in Uganda to winning the IBF world light middleweight title in the USA.

Ashira Oure was leading the fitness programs in Philadelphia during the filming of the documentary in July 2006.   

Movie Director  Kief Davidson is an award winning feature film and documentary director born and raised in Brooklyn, New york. His previous film " the Devil's Miner" world premiered at the Rotterdam film festivals, including Tribeca hot docs, Chicago, Woodstock, Jerusalem and Mexico City.

He received the prestigious DGA Award nomination for outstanding Achievement in Documentary directing, and won the coveted PBS independent Lens Audience award. "The Devil Miner" screened theatrically in over 140 cinemas across Europe and the USA.

Kief has also directed and produced documentary for The discovery Channel, ABC news, PBS, ARTE and A&E. As a narrative filmmaker, Kief wrote and Directed the dark comedy, "Minor details", an independent feature film starring Peter Sarsgaard and Larry Pine. He began his filmmaking career in 1993 as editor on the Academy award-nominated documentary "blood ties: The life and work of Sally Mann."

He is also the recipient of two Emmy nominations for his work with National Geographic and earned the international monitor award for best editing on the journalistic film, "what's news?"
